About Rich Circuit
The ultra-wealthy don't take holidays: they run a calendar. Every year the same loop repeats: Davos in January, the Med in May, yachts in September, Miami and St. Barts in December. Rich Circuit maps that loop, the annual circuit of events the world's richest people travel to by jet, yacht and helicopter, so you can see at a glance where they are right now and where the circuit goes next.
The circuit
Each stop carries a recurring annual window (most events shift a few days from year to year, we track the season, not the ticket office), who actually attends, how they arrive, and one verifiable money signal: the berth prices, jet movements or auction totals that prove the wealth is in the room. Windows and figures are compiled from public reporting, event organisers and harbour/aviation data, and are best-effort estimates, so always check official dates before planning anything around them.
The journal
Every stop gets an evergreen guide, an annual dispatch, and fresh dated dispatches in the Journal. A Prefect job on home-vps publishes every eight weeks when a stop is far away, every two weeks as it approaches, and every few days from two weeks before through two weeks after. It rebuilds the SEO pages and sitemap, then reports metrics to pulse. You can also run npm run gen:posts locally (optional LLM via npm run gen:posts:llm). Edit any JSON under src/content/posts/ by hand when you want a better sentence.
How the news desk works
Pieces labelled News carry the byline Rich Circuit news desk. The desk is run by UrbanoDX, the independent studio that publishes Rich Circuit. It covers named, dated changes to the events on our calendar: next-edition dates, venue moves, ticket and access rules, new or cancelled editions, and official attendance or sale figures. It never reports where a named person is or will be.
Sources. The organiser's own pages and releases come first; another outlet's reporting is used only for what that outlet itself found, and named. Every piece lists its sources with the time we read them. When a fact is not public, we write that it is unknown.
AI drafting and a second reviewer. AI tools draft each piece from those sources. Before it is published, a second reviewer reads every source again and checks each date, number and name against it. We do not attend, test or interview anyone for these reports, and each piece says so in a "How we made this" line. Each piece shows when it was published and, after a real change, when it was updated.
Corrections. We fix errors on the page itself, with a visible correction line and a new updated time. Tell us if you spot one.
Images. A News piece leads with a photo of the venue or the town: from Wikimedia Commons under CC0, public domain or CC BY, credited with author and licence under the image, or an organiser's public press photo of the place, credited and removed on request. Never a generated image of a real place or event, a poster, or a photo of a guest.
Journal guides and dispatches are generated on a schedule from our event records and say so on the page; they never carry the News label. Some pages link to GetYourGuide tours that earn us a commission; no News piece depends on them.
The city index
Between stops, the wealth lives somewhere. The secondary half of the site is an open, no-login index of 41 cities across 33 countries: who's gaining millionaires and who's losing them, why (tax, visas, politics), and how each place stacks up on cost, safety and lifestyle, with side-by-side comparison.
What the city numbers mean
Wealth trend
Whether high-net-worth individuals are net arriving (inflowing), leaving (outflowing) or holding steady, the headline signal of where money is moving right now.
Millionaire net flow
Estimated net migration of dollar-millionaires per year, modelled on the Henley & Partners Private Wealth Migration Report. Positive means net arrivals; negative, net departures.
Tax regime
The top personal income tax rate plus any special regime the wealthy care about: 0% jurisdictions, flat-tax deals, non-dom rules, and recent changes that push or pull capital.
Golden / investor visa
Residency- or citizenship-by-investment programmes, with the minimum spend and key conditions, where they exist.
Monthly budget
A realistic all-in monthly cost for one person living comfortably: rent for a central 1-bedroom, food, a coworking/flex desk, local transport and utilities/extras.
Internet
Typical median fixed-broadband and mobile download speeds, in line with the Ookla Speedtest Global Index. “Fast internet” roughly means 80 Mbps+ fixed.
Safety
A 0-100 score modelled on the Numbeo Safety Index, higher is safer. It reflects perceived day-to-day safety, not travel advisories.
Walkability
How easily you can live car-free: density, sidewalks, transit and how much is reachable on foot.
Nomad visa
Whether the country offers a dedicated digital-nomad / remote-work visa, with its initial duration and minimum income requirement where one exists.
Climate
Average seasonal temperatures, the climate type, and the months most people find most pleasant.
Sources & honesty
Figures are best-effort estimates for 2025-26, compiled from public sources including the Henley & Partners Private Wealth Migration Report (millionaire flows), Numbeo (cost of living & safety), the Ookla Speedtest Global Index (internet), and official government, tax and consulate pages (tax regimes & visas). Every city page lists its own Sources so you can open them and check the latest numbers yourself, and each carries a data-confidence note. Visa entries were re-checked against official pages: where a country has no dedicated remote-work visa, we say so rather than invent one.
Prices and especially rents move fast, and your real budget depends hugely on your lifestyle. Treat everything here as a starting point for research, not a guarantee: always confirm visa rules with the official consulate before you book anything.
